Romar Global Care (Agrado Cosmetic, Quimiromar and Envasado Xiomara) takes another step in the implementation of manufacturing and packaging lines at the company's new industrial plant in Sagunto.
On February 1st, the Spanish multinational perfume and drugstore manufacturer launched its first pallet of aerosols, inaugurating the installation and commissioning of its new aerosol packaging line with its partner, Coster, a well-known leader in the manufacture of machinery for spray and aerosol packaging.
This is the first step toward achieving the group's new plan, which, according to its Director of Operations, Josep Vento, is "to become the leading aerosol packager in Spain with an installed line capable of producing more than 120 million aerosol units for drugstore, air freshener, cosmetics, and insecticides in Sagunto."
Vento emphasized "the importance of having an ally and partner like Coster, with a business relationship that goes back several years. Furthermore, this fact demonstrates our ability to overcome challenges, as it has only been two years since the fire at our Náquera facilities occurred. Since then, we have not stopped producing and taking steps simultaneously to achieve this new milestone."
In the words of Pierpaolo Bossi, Head of Machinery Sales at Coster, "It has been a great satisfaction to witness the production of the first aerosols at the new Sagunto plant with the newly installed and validated Coster line. From the outset, it was a great challenge that we enthusiastically embraced, especially given the long-standing relationship of trust and collaboration between our two companies."
RGC's next steps will now be to consolidate the relocation, installation, and expansion of its liquids factory, which will significantly expand its production capacity in the drugstore and perfumery sectors.
